I write books. I like writing books and I want to entertain people. It’s really that simple.
I also like simple, action-packed adventure stories. E. E. “Doc” Smith’s Lensmen. Star Wars and Star Trek. Battlestar Galactica.
With both of those, I wrote the Nightingale books.
Book 1, “The Singularity Job” is an uncomplicated story. A crew aboard an experimental ship takes a job and gets thrown in way over their heads.
The second book, “The Stargem Heist”, is pretty straightforward as well. After recovering a sacred gem, the crew of Nightingale are dragged into a civil war and forced to steal the gem back to rescue their abducted crew mates.
